Weather talk of Arizona

Apart from the Grand Canyon, I do not have much knowledge about Arizona. So I looked up abit on the Internet on Arizona.

Arizona is actually located in the western United States, and best known for its desert landscape, also has primarily very hot summers and mild winters.

Since I have not stepped foot in any dessert location, I have always thought dessert landscape primarily has only scorching days and cold nights. How wrong of me! Arizona has winters and summers in:
Nov to Feb : winter (4–24 °C)
June to Sept : dry summer (32–49 °C)

Just by comparing Arizona's temperature variances with Malaysia (23-34 °C), I think Malaysia's all year round "summer" is much "cooler" than the dry summer in Arizona! And being a tropical country, Malaysia does not experience winters. But the raining season could bring the temperatures down to 22-25 °C at night, which you may say is comparable to the mildest winter of Arizona.

Arizona's weather may not appeal to much to me, but the real estate (e.g. Scottsdale Arizona realtors) there are definitely interesting and captivating. If it interest you so much that you wish to relocate, there is always the relocation specialist to assist you step-by-step.

My favourite perfume - Miss Dior Cherie

There this perfume from Christian Dior that I like particularly - Miss Dior Cherie. It was a gift from N from one of his business trips because I did not get to tag along :P

This perfume's smell was abit too strong for me. I only use it during night functions, particularly when I know I'll be in air-conditioned room. It has this very strong sweet smell, though with my inexperienced nose I can't really tell what those mixed smells are. I googled it, and found that it has notes of Green Tangerine, Violette, Pink Jasmine, Patchouli, Crystalline Musk, Strawberry Leaves, Caramelized Popcorn and Strawberry Sorbet. The smell is long lasting, and can last me through the whole day.

The perfume bottle is cute too, a transparent square bottle with a ribbon design on the cap. I like those open-and-spray type of perfume bottle, which makes application easy without the need to dab the perfume with my fingers. Everytime I use this perfume, it evokes the girlish, flirty, naughty feelings in me.

So if you like this peachy sweet smell, head to a cologne and perfume store and get a bottle of it too!

Buying motor insurance cover

My car had just past its one-year mark and I have just switched the car insurance company for convenience sake. Car insurance are not cheap nowadays depending on your car value. My, my...the premiums do burnt a hole in my pocket this month.

Insurable Interest
Make sure you buy insurance cover as soon as you purchase a vehicle, even when buying a used car. This is to protect your interest as the previous owner's cover is no longer valid.

Insured Value/Sum Insured
Ensure you vehicle is adequately insured.
New vehicle : sum insured = purchase price
Others : sum insured = market value of vehicle when policy is bought

Under-insurance : sum insured is less than market value. You will only be partially compensated in the event of a loss.

Over-insurance : sum insured is higher than market value. The maximum compensation is the market value of the vehicle, so you will not profit from a claim.

So you need to determine the market value to avoid under- or over- insurance.

Thinking of garage flooring?

I've not moved into the new house I've bought, and neither does the house have any garage. Malaysian houses can't afford to have garages, but we do see crudely built garages in the city outskirts.


Let's see, if I were to have my own garage, I would of course parked my precious baby (my car of course) there. So to match the colour of my car, the garage flooring should be in silver or ivory colour. And of course it should be non slip and solid (so that I don't get slipped down while admiring my car).

I may consider those garage floor tiles which are quiet, warm, fire and chemical resistant, flexible and will not crack (in case dearie wants to get a 4x4 into the garage!)

I am keen to find out for myself if PayPerPost works for me. I have had a Paypal account registered earlier on, but since the getting payout was a hassle for Malaysians, I did not bother to explore further. That was it until now.

My friend had recently signed up PayPerPost, and so I follow suit. Registration was a breeze, and here I am now writing my very first PPP post while waiting for my blog to be approved. I will patiently see if the money starts appearing in my account after this. And hopefully the money will start rolling in more when I start to blog more posts for PPP.

Since my friend has posted a few for PPP, I shall get check with her if she starts seeing the money$$ in her account. And then we shall share tips on how to blog for some side income. And race to see who get more money! I think this could work. I shall persist for few months to try it out. If it works, you’ll be seeing more of PPP posts on my blog. And I can start planning my next holidays, and how I would like to spend the extra money. And then you should also start joining us. If anyone has done PPP before, share with me how is it for you.
